WESTLIFE in me (part 1)

heei.. finally got the time to write the special post 'bout Westlife... aaaa.. missing them soo much.. just like the carpenters says :

It was songs of love that
I would sing to then
And I’d memorize each word
Those old melodies
Still sound so good to me
As they melt the years away

yes, i still feel all the emotions in W songs, the same emotions, that i used to feel long time ago.. just like i've said before, when everyone is having a bad bieber fever, i still get this Westlife syndrome..ahaha..

well,,let me flash back of my first intoduction to W. it was 11 years ago, i was on the 4th grade of elementary school, still a cute lil child hahaha, not even teenager.. the 4th grade was also my first time having English lesson in school, and i found myself interested in this a lot. and then i listened to I Have a Dream, and by hearing from many news around. it was Westlife, the one who sings I have a dream..

at time i was having a fight with my best -est friend Ade, yeah, the class was devided into 2 groups, mine and hers..hahha.. no one will deny that both of us were the superb most influencing girls in class..hahaha.. i didn't remember how we made up, but we both find ourselves as the same Westlife fans..hahaha.. and guess what we had the same favorite W member, Bryan McFadden...aaaa.. and yeah, we influenced all the girls around us, dian, nana, kiki, ayu, tia to listen to W songs. and we continued this. Shane was Kiki's favorite, Nicky was Nana's favorite, and Kian was Putri and Dian favorite... yeah, we didn't find anyone who's been favoriting Mark. but then, we brought a poster of W and had my teacher looked at it. and we asked, who was the most charming W member?, and my teacher, mrs. Darlinah said "mark".. aaaa.. and this mark answer also happen when we asked it to our mom..haaa.. you can conclude this..

and yeah suddenly, W came to Indonesia, we never got the chance to see them live. we didn't have money, our parents considered us too little and afraid we will be trampled by the crowd. so, we just saw the concert in TV. and followed the news from the Tabloid. I still remember the Tabloid name was Fantasi. haa.. this tabloid was just like a hit at that time (and now it's gone).. but i didn't quit trying to see them live. i had an uncle that works on the TV station that broadcast W concert live. i asked him to took me with him if there's another W concert.. i expected this a lot.. but then, i couldn't done anything (again) in the 2nd W concert..aaa.. so sad..

when i was in the 5th grade, my teacher asked our class to gave a performance for the 6th grade graduation.. we chose to dance with W song I Lay My Love On You as the background music. the personel was me, ade, kiki, nana, and dian. we created all the moves i Nana's house. well, Kiki gave a great contribution on it.

finally the day of graduation was come. i forgot where it was held, in Cibodas or Safari park. we performed the dance well..haha.. there was a funny incident, we dance in an unflat plane, and Nana's position was right in the steepest plane. and suddenly she fells off..hahaha.. but she was Ok and stand up continuing the dance.. we also had a new friend in the 5th grade named Dwi. and her mother was also a big fans of W. we lucky that we could borrow many W VCDs from her..hahaha..

i still had W in me at the 6th grade. and there was a big news that hit us a lot. it was the news that W will had a collaboration with Sherina, one of Indonesia's little singer. haaa.. we can't accept this. we hate sherina a lot. ade and i were mad at this. we stopped ourselves from Sherina. we stopped listen to her songs, watch her movie.. we thought it wasn't fair... we thought Sherina was only yesterday's child..

As i told before, Ade and I were the leader of W fans in class, we collect all the albums (in cassette format). at that time, it was Westlife Deluxe and Coast to Coast. we bought many magazines and tabloids that had W news on it. we collected many posters and had it glued on our bedroom walls. we watch MTV just to see any of W music video. we woke up late at midnight just to watch an award with W on it, or watch the replay of their concert... we memorized all the W member birthday, favorite things, eyes color, hometown, etc..haaa..

they've been there with me all the time.. and i'm gonna post some pics and continnuing this later.. :)
